The last time I watched Dr Who, I was rewatching the first Weeping Angels episode. I have not been able to look at stone statues the same way since.

That’s cool about karate. My dad and I used to watch old Bruce Lee films and is copy what I saw, so he signed me up for karate lessons when I was...five? I think. Five or six.
[ She smiles a bit, sort of missing her dad for a moment. So she focuses on the game, barely surviving the wild game they picked. But this was nice. Really nice. Hawk was pretty cool. Gwen could get used to hanging out with him. There’s a mew from the cat and Gwen looks over, sighing some when she sees the bright blue ribbon of her ballet shoes in the cats mouth. ]
Miles, stop eating my ballet shoes.
[ And a moment later, said super casually: ]
Would those guys after you be Derek and his band of morons? Because they’re not fond of me either.
Yeah that's a pretty good one. Super freaky, but really good.
[Hawk didn't say much after that, not wanting to scare her off with his super geekery. Not that he was ashamed he just knew that it could be a lot at times. Plus, he had to keep crushing her at Mario Party. Okay, he didn't HAVE to but he wasn't going to let up. He was so focused it took him a moment to register what she'd said.]

[He shifted and pulled his phone out of his pocket and showed her the video that the bullies had lived streamed, showing Hawk kicking their ass until the phone was dropped.]
[ Gwen can only accept having her ass kicked in this game for so long. Thankfully, she's tired and kind of hurts all over so that limit hasn't been reached yet.
She pauses the game when he pulls out his phone, leaning some to see what he's talking about. Her shoulder brushes his for a second. As she watches, her face goes from relaxed and happy, to...
Well, someone's in some serious trouble. She watches the video again with laser focus and even reaches up to restart it, pausing it mid-fight to study the faces on the screen. There's an irritated sigh from her and she nods. ]
Yyyyyep. That's Derek and Zach and their friends. They're the school bullies. We're not friends.
[ Not even a little bit. Pointing out Zach, she adds: ]
I got detention a few months ago for stopping him from picking on one of the younger kids at school who always wears a Pikachu hoodie.
[ And to use the same Hamilton quote she used when she told her coworkers this, the smirk on her face not the least bit sheepish nor remorseful; ]
I may have punched him. It's a blur.
[ And she'd goddamn do it again in a heartbeat. Zach, who clearly outweighs Gwen and could easily tower over her, once got a tiny blonde girl in his face and a black eye from the ballet dancer sitting beside Hawk and said ballet dancer wouldn't even hesitate if the chance came up again. ]
But, hey...that's my statue they were going after. And you're clearly one of the coolest people in town because you kept me safe even if you didn't know me then. So thank you. I really appreciate it.
[There was all sorts of touching and closeness going on and Hawk was
more than a little flushed and flustered about it. He'd only just met this
girl but here they were pressed up against each other very closely. It was
weird and it would be more nice if Hawk wasn't so unsure about it. But it
was still nice.]
Oh, I didn't know that was you. I just... I just really have a problem with
bullies.
[Which she could probably guess considering his lip. Even if he
tried to pretend like it was no big deal any teenager would know that other
kids would be assholes about things like that.]
[ To be fair, hospital beds are usually made for just one person. She's not trying to press against him, but the bed only allows for so much space. She looks at Hawk when he says he has a problem with bullies, a small frown appearing on her face for a second. ]
I'm sorry to hear that. If these guys give you any more trouble, please let me know. It's the least I can do considering what you just showed me in that video.
[ He seemed pretty confident in his own abilities, and Gwen could easily admit that watching that video showed he knew what he was doing. And Ghost Spider already knew from personal experience that Derek and Co aren't shit.

That's a hard question. I think it's Tennant though. And I know that if I was a "real fan" I'd pick a classic Doctor but... I don't know. He's the one I like the most.
Okay. That’s a fair choice. And it really doesn’t matter which Doctor you like. Personally, I think basing how big a fan you are of something on your choices is kind of silly. If you say you’re a fan, cool.
[ She pauses the game for a moment and flexes her hands a bit, frowning. ] Do you mind if we give the video game a break? My hands are hurting. Side effect from...all that.
